Catahoula’s

Great environment and great service! Our waitress, Carson, stayed on top of everything. The catfish bites were delicious! We also got the mozzarella sticks with a side salad with ranch and my fiance got the Catahoula Burger which he said was wonderful. It was too cold to sit outside that day we were there but to back porch looks like a fun place to be while you eat.

This was a great place to go on a beautiful day. We sat on the deck overlooking the bayou. Our waitress was very friendly and good on refills. We enjoyed the food. They have a pretty good selection; including kids options. The highlight was definitely the view though.

First time visit. Nothing but great things to say. It was clean, staff was friendly and attentive. Food was amazing. Fried catfish and shrimp, meat pies, fried mushrooms and wings were all great. Top it off with a Flying Tiger draft and no complaints here.

We had a party of 13 and Ellie was our server she was amazing. The service was phenomenal and we enjoyed her. However we sat outside and asked if the heater could be placed on it and the policy is 6 tables, I think this should be adjusted in cold weather to accommodate guest. We loved the outside view.

Excellent food and our server Macee was absolutely wonderful with our large group for my dad's birthday! Very much enjoyed ourselves and we will be back again!

Had an awesome experience tonight for dinner! Was not busy and was seated quickly. Food was hot and tasted great! Anna was on top of the service game and made sure I was taken care of with offering suggestions and ensuring I had everything I needed. Pulled pork tacos were amazing and had a slight spicy kick to it. Curly fries were fresh and hot. Ordered a side salad as well which was just a good and ordinary salad. Very glad I came through for dinner!

My wife and I were in Monroe, LA shopping and decided to dine out for lunch at Catahoula’s on the Bayou. I had seen the other reviews and they were mostly negative ratings with a couple positive ratings. Even so, I decided to try it for myself. When we got there around 12:30pm on a Saturday, we found the parking lot filled and a line of people out of the entrance! I immediately thought this place must be great to have this many people wanting to eat here! My wife suggested we do our shopping first then return for a late lunch. I agreed and we did just that. We returned around 2:30pm and had to just a mostly filled parking lot with some open spaces. After about a 10 to 15 minute wait we were seated outside on the back patio area. I ordered the appetizer sampler (pick three items from a list of six items) with Natchitoches meat pies, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. For my main entree I chose the Catahoula Burger. 1/3 pound patty, bacon, habanero jack cheese, jalapenos, chipotle ranch, tomato, and grilled onions. (I had them hold the bacon). With a side of fries. The burger was delicious, but not very spicy (at least to me, but I routinely eat very spicy foods). The fries were awesome, not too much salt and they were crisp and crunchy! The inside dining area was rather loud, but it’s a sports bar with tvs on the walls and it was a bit crowded too. The outside patio was almost as crowded, but without the tvs and no walls for the sounds to echo off of. Plus there was a nice breeze for our enjoyment along with a view of the bayou. The staff was polite, professional, and pleasant. Our food was delivered after just a couple minutes and the server made sure our needs were met. I am pleased to say we had a very enjoyable lunch at Catahoula’s on the Bayou.

We had my baby shower here tonight and the staff busted their butts to make sure we got seated fed and drinks in a timely matter.Only complaint would be it was so hot inside but it’s a Louisiana summer I guess.Food was pretty good too!Thank y’all for accommodating over 30 people.We will def be back!
